This week in the Vision To Reality series The Promise of Purpose, we are looking at Chapter 3: Purpose Lived Out in Scripture. As we continue to look at Esther and her example of stepping into the purpose for her life, we can see some vital steps the Lord laid out for her. God gave her wisdom in what, how, when and with whom to do what needed to be done to save her people. God promises the same to us when we seek Him for our purpose.

‘For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place… Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”…. “Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me…My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!”’ Esther 4:14-16 NKJV

Esther was so confident in what she heard the Lord tell her, that she was willing to risk her life. While we are not often required to risk our lives, we will at some time be required to choose whether we follow what the Lord says over what the world says. When we pursue God’s purpose and hear from Him, we can be confident that He is going to take care of all the details necessary to reach our destiny. And, we can trust that He is always working on our behalf, for our good. That is awesome!

Seeking Him,
