How can you explain two people in the same situation seeing things completely different? The filter being used to process thoughts and situations has a direct impact on experiences in life. Renewing your mind is not a once and done deal but is an area of constant focus that determines your quality of life.
‘Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.’ Philippians 4:8 NKJV.
The things filling your mind have influence over you and affect how you determine your worldview.
The Word of God is what gives you the ability to filter good from evil, right from wrong and wise from foolish. What you think about is who you become.
‘Do not eat the bread of a miser, Nor desire his delicacies; For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.’ Proverbs 23:6-7 NKJV.
When your filter for processing life is God’s good report, you can see the success, life and hope He has reserved for you in every situation.

God’s Opinion of Me | Pruning
As God gently and lovingly prunes us, we become more fruitful, and our true beauty comes out!
