Starting the New Year with a fresh outlook is the best way to see growth and expansion in your life, business and relationships. Looking at circumstances, situations and people from a different perspective gives you the ability to think outside the box you may have unintentionally found yourself in. When I am designing or staging, I often use this approach. I enjoy walking into a room with the mindset of seeing it for the first time. I pay attention to how the room makes me feel and I give myself permission to dream about the possibilities for transformation. This approach will change your relationships, your decision-making and your vision for the future.
I am doing something brand new, something unheard of. Even now it sprouts and grows and matures. Don’t you perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and open up flowing streams in the desert. Isaiah 43:19 TPT
A new year can often bring desires for something new, as evidenced by the multitude of New Year’s Resolutions, many of which don’t last beyond the end of January. But changing your mindset to look beyond first impressions toward the deeper, hidden treasures is not hard to do. The hardest part is to remember to do it. By slowing down, taking an extra few moments, whether with a situation or a person, you can find a perspective you might have missed entirely.
Let 2025 be the year you take a little extra time to find the joy, delight, beauty and possibility in everything around you.
Looking for treasure,
Karen Conrad Metcalfe
