God foresaw this generation of fatherless children and made special provision. He has obligated Himself to intervene on their behalf–to be a father, a leader, a husband. The Lord commits to step into the empty places and promises to put those who are lonely into families. ‘A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, Is God in His holy habitation. God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity; But the rebellious dwell in a dry land.’ Psalms 68:5-6 NKJV.

The Word is full of promises for the husbandless woman and the fatherless child. Learn to draw on the Lord as He brings provision into the gaps you are experiencing. ‘He executes justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the stranger or temporary resident and gives him food and clothing.’ Deuteronomy 10:18 AMPC. The promise of care for your family is something God takes personally. Be comforted.

Joy Is Our Standard! Signature Verses

Isn’t it powerful when God illuminates a signature verse that becomes especially important to us and close to our hearts? Today we’ll be sharing with you one of our signature verses that guides us in our daily life as a couple. Psalms 16:11 encourages us to pursue life in God’s presence, aligning with Him and each other to stay on His path of bliss. It also gives us a standard of joy, reminding us to prioritize joy in our marriage and in our home. What an excellent standard to live by!
