This week in the Vision To Reality series The Promise of Purpose, we are looking at Chapter 4: Fear Not, On Purpose. There are things we can learn from the life of Jesus that will help us become rooted and grounded in faith rather than fear. Jesus faced challenges while living out His purpose on earth, but He learned to choose God’s viewpoint over His own opinion or what other people said. He understood His purpose and could walk confidently in that purpose without fear.

‘He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.’ I John 3:8 NKJV

It is the same for you and I. We will have the opportunity multiple times a day to weigh our thoughts and decide if we are going to view circumstances through a lens of fear or through a lens of faith. Looking at your life through the truth of the Word of God gives you discernment when dealing with fearful thoughts. God gave you a purpose and He has opened up the treasures of heaven to help you fulfill your purpose. Fear has no foothold when you are walking in the plans God has set before you.

Purposefully,
